We know where the term "Pack-Rat" comes from.

We knew all along that these little buggers would stash away just about any food product they could get their hands on. We witnessed the roll rituals and we witnessed the corn rituals (see "If it's big, they'll take it.") but the extent of their orderliness we never quite understood until we lifted the couch for "Spring Cleaning" days at the human's. We found a couple of chicken bones, and a few hundred lab blocks. We also found a shoe, a very heavy fountain pen, a few earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and cigarettes. First of all, how come we never saw them walk away with this stuff? Secondly, how did we not notice it was missing? When we took it back, they sure noticed it was gone...

Disclaimer: There are many non-sarcastic accounts and tips on the web regarding rat care. This is not one of them. These are merely accounts of our experiences with rats, our perceptions of these experiences, where we've failed and where we've succeeded. These accounts are here for two purposes:

    1) To entertain.
